How to transfer a card to another user?

Individual account

Card Transfer Feature for Spendge Users

With our card transfer feature, Spendge users can now transfer the cards between their accounts. Here is how it works:

  1. Cards can be transferred from one Team user account or Individual account to any other Team user or Individual account within the Spendge system.

  2. Users will receive real-time notifications when they have an incoming card transfer request.

Roles in the Card Transfer Process

  • Sender: The account owner that transfers the card to another account. This can be a Team user account or an Individual account.

  • Recipient: The account receiving the card from another account. This can be a Team user, Team admin, or Individual account.

How to Transfer a Card

Follow these steps to transfer a card from a Team Member or Individual account to another account within the Spendge system:

  1. Log in to your Spendge account.

  2. Navigate to the Cards tab.

  3. Find the card you want to transfer and click on the Transfer Card button.

  4. In the transfer form, enter the following information:

    • Recipient Email: The email address of the account you want to transfer the card.

    • Sender Name: Your name (optional).

    • Description: A brief description of the transfer (optional).

  5. Click on the Create button to create and send the transfer request.

  6. To check the status of your transfer request, go to the Cards > Cards Requests > Outgoing tab. You will see your transfer request listed there.

Once the recipient accepts the transfer request, the card will be transferred to their account, and you will see the updated status in the Cards > Cards Requests > Outgoing.

Important Notes on Card Transfers

  1. Only one transfer request can be made for a card at a time. If the request is accepted, the card goes to the recipient. If the request is declined, the card becomes available for the sender to initiate a new transfer request.

  2. If the transferred card has a balance, the funds are transferred to the sender's Card Account Balance/User Card Balance after the recipient accepts the request.

  3. The card creation date is retained for transferred cards, and the monthly service fee is charged to the current card owner's account at the time of deduction.

  4. To accept a card transfer request, the recipient must have available slots.

  5. All transferred cards will have a Card Balance, which can be modified using the standard flow.

  6. For card data on the Cards page, the card copying function will be blocked for the sender after the transfer is confirmed. A new status Transferred will be added.

  7. For referral programs with Farm team accounts, the referral percentage is calculated based on the spend on cards that have been transferred.

  8. Transfer requests sent to the email of an unregistered user will remain active for 2 weeks. Upon registration, the new account will be checked for any pending card transfer requests, which will be added to the account if found.
