Two-factor authentication

To protect your account on our platform, we provide the option of two-factor authentication (2FA). This feature adds an additional layer of protection by requesting identity verification after entering your password. In this article, we'll explain how to enable and use two-factor authentication on our platform.

Activating 2FA

Step 1

Click on User Profile in the sidebar. Go to My Profile.

Enable two-factor authentication in the settings menu in the profile.

Step 2

After 2FA activation, Google Authenticator starts the connection process. Google Authenticator is a mobile app that generates one-time codes to verify your identity.

You need to re-enter the password for the account.

Step 3

Connect Google Authenticator by scanning a QR code. To do this, you will need to download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

If you have problems with scanning the QR code, you can choose to connect via key. When you click on "Can't scan barcode?" you will be prompted to enter the key manually.

The next step by clicking on NEXT is to confirm the connected authenticator.

Once the 2FA activation process is successfully completed, a notification will pop up notifying you that it has been successfully activated. The 2FA button will now be active in your profile settings.

Deactivation of 2FA

Re-enter your account password to confirm.

After logging in, enter the code from the authenticator to confirm your action. After successful action, two-factor authentication will be deactivated.
